In a word...Yes. It does work. The diet is actually very healthy and a great diet for weight loss. It cuts all of the bad carbs and bad fats out of your diet. The concept of calorie shifting is not new and has been around for a while and it really does work.

But don't expect Fat Loss 4 Idiots to work as well as they claim...The program claims it will help you to lose 9 pounds EVERY 11 days. While most people will see close to this in the first 11 days, don't expect to lose this much forever. During the beginning of the diet, the combination of the shock to your metabolism the elimination of starchy carbs from your diet will cause you to lose fat and water weight, making you look much slimmer. But as time goes on, the weight loss will slow down to about 2-3 pounds per cycle. Which is still pretty good and a much healthier weight loss.

I just finished the first 11 day cycle of this diet. I've lost 6lbs. A little less than they promised but it's still good. The review that Jasmine32 posted explains it pretty well, though they also recommend some light walking if you have time.
Overall it's very simple to follow. 



I used this diet a couple of years ago and it worked for me. I also found it easy to stick to while also preparing dinner for my family. I just arranged the day so that the more 'dinner-esque' meal was at dinner time and maybe added some rice or a potato for my husband.

And shoot ... any diet where you can eat cashews and not feel guilty about it is the diet for me. I did very well on it. (I believe I lost 8 lbs in the 11 days). I am also a big walker, and believe that one without the other will only get you so far. (meaning dieting and exercise). And I am a big water drinker (or was until I discovered that Coke can squelch a headache. Jajaja.).

I just talked to my husband over dinner tonight about doing it with me this time. I have had a 2nd child and am irritated at how I look and disgusted at where my will power has gone. She is almost 10 months old and honestly, I should be better off than I am. I was much better after my son, so I knwo I can do it, I just need to find the motivation and tap into that dedication.
